I won't envy the heat this AugustB
The fall English say autumnC
burrowing like urinating dogsD
thru treesE
carrying winter wooliesE
with sniff of airF
crisscrossing the lion's tamer'sE
path I must trodG
when snow hitsE

No I won't envy searing blastsE
be they inclementH
weather or lost soulsE
bargaining with rainI
Acceptance they sayE
is the keyJ
and the word clangs like chimesE
into my biology a grandfather clockK
to my own chamber music aL
little something to cheer andM
serenade the buffeted spiritN

-
Think still thoughts in gloomy housesE
when petals cry burst in springtimeO
This is done in preparationP
for brighter momentsE
ecstatically greetingQ
November chillR
devouring the last chestnutN
cursing wheat cakes overS
winter's fireS

A pleasant pageT
crammed in the tumbler briefcaseE
carrying my life's thimbleU
rocketing towardV
a brilliant destinyJ
all seasonal planetsE
orchestrating moodW
the patch quilt procupineJ
quill emotion tapestryJ
working overtime likeX
a fish hook thruY
brain's inner eye ocularY
hair shirt pulled onJ
at warning's glanceE
to trigger the way I boil eggsE
devour slivers of woodZ
on learning another dayE
kicks ass fromC
the horizontal pillowA2
