Casting Rocks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDE FGBB HIIJKLMNCB

Merely on edgeA
the wharf in bad lightB
clinging to water's ledgeA
a loon from afarC
the WoodsD
closing with each soundE
-
Casting rocks toward moon's glareF
lapidations laughing backG
the treacle of warm nightB
coaxing fire's glowing mightB
-
Sudden oceanic wildernessH
breathless in barked silenceI
and camphor to keep the flies at distanceI
the anchored boat like a prison shipJ
dallying on the wavesK
brambles underbrushL
sunken wet sandM
abundant berries rasp in thicketsN
the cottage like a jarC
closing for the nightB
