To Carlton Berry Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBBBB DEDEBB F

KILLED IN AN AEROPLANE ACCIDENT JULYA
-
-
It was Thy will O God And so he diedB
For seventeen sweet years he was a childC
Upon whose grace Thy loving kindness smiledC
For he was clean and full of youthful prideB
And when his years drew on then Thou deniedB
That he by man's estate should be defiledB
And so Thou call'st him to Thy presence mildB
To be with Thee for ever by Thy sideB
-
Nor is he dead He lives in three great spheresD
His soul is with Thee in Thy home aboveE
His influence with friends of former yearsD
His memory with those he used to loveE
He is an emblem of that TrinityB
With whom he lives in happy ecstasyB
