The Country Beautiful Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBC DEDEFF G

I love the little daisies on the lawnA
Which contemplate with wide and placid eyesB
The blue and white enamel of the skiesB
The larks which sing their mattin song at dawnA
High o'er the earth and see the new Day bornC
All stained with amethyst and amber dyesB
I love the shadowy woodland's hidden prizeB
Of fragrant violets which the dewy mornC
-
Doth open gently underneath the treesD
To cast elusive perfume on each hourE
The waving clover full of drowsy beesD
That take their murmurous way from flower to flowerE
Who could but think deep in some sun flecked gladeF
How God must love these things that He has madeF
