Dreams Of Autumn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CDCDEE F

When through the heat of some long afternoonA
In blazing August on the grass I lieB
And watch the white clouds move across the skyB
On whose azure is faintly etched the moonA
That when the evening deepens will be soonA
The brightest figure of those hosts on highB
My heart is discontented and I sighB
For Autumn and its vapours till I swoonA
-
Upon the vision of October daysC
In dreaming London when each mighty treeD
Sheds daily more brown showers through the hazeC
Which lends each street Romance and MysteryD
When pallid silver Sunshine only gleamsE
On that grey Lovers' City of Sweet DreamsE
-
Isle of GrainF
