Young Girl: Annam Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF FHIH FJKJ

I AM a young girlA
I live here aloneB
I write long lettersC
But there is no oneD
-
For me to send them to My heartE
Teaches me loving words to useF
But I can repeat them onlyG
In the garden to the tall bamboosF
-
Expectantly I stand beside the door I raiseF
The hanging mat IH
The letter folded gaze outI
And see shadows of the passers byH
-
In the garden the fire fliesF
Quench and kindle their soft glowJ
I am one separatedK
But from whom I do not knowJ
