On Two Sisters Whose Deaths Were Together Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGD HIAD

IN woods remote hid in the mountain hollowsA
Doves there are that have a gentler beautyB
Doves that are marked as by a poet's imageC
And hence are called Doves of the Wounded HeartD
-
And such ye were and we could never learn theE
Call that would bring you to our breasts our handsF
And such ye were and ye were aliens in ourG
Barnyard world Doves of the Wounded HeartD
-
You who were proud no storm had ever turned yourH
Flight and you who were her cherished oneI
May ye have found hid in your mountain hollowsA
Your wood remote Doves of the Wounded HeartD
