Lilac Blossoms Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBBBCDEBBF| WE mark the playing time of sun and rain | A |
| Until the rain too heavily upon us | B |
| Leans and the sun stamps down upon our lustres | B |
| And then our trees stand in their greennesses | B |
| No different from the privets in the hedges | B |
| And we who made a pleasaunce at the door step | C |
| And whether by the ash heap or the spring well | D |
| Growing were ever fresh and ever radiant | E |
| And fragrant more than grass is | B |
| We we are gone without a word that praised us | B |
| You did not know how short the playing time | F |
