| The crows that shake the night damp off their wings | F |
| Upon the stones out yonder in the fields | G |
| The first live things that we see in the mornings | F |
| The crows that march across the fields that sit | B |
| Upon the ash trees' branches that fly home | H |
| And crowd the elm tops over in Drumbarr | D |
| The crows we look on at all hours of light | I |
| Growing and full and going these black beings have | J |
| Another lifetime | K |
| - | |
| Crows flying in the dark | L |
| Blackness in darkness flying beings unseen | M |
| Except by eyes that are like to their own | N |

| Who've told me of the crows my fosterer | D |
| And you old woman upon whose lap I've lain | Q |
| When I was taken from my mother's lap | R |
| And you young girl with looks that have come down | S |
| From forefathers my kin ye have another life | T |
| I've glimpsed it I becoming trespasser | D |
| Blackness in darkness flying like the crows | U |
