Sonnet Ix: There Where The Waves Shatter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJK LMK

There where the waves shatter on the restless rocksA
the clear light bursts and enacts its roseB
and the sea circle shrinks to a cluster of budsC
to one drop of blue salt fallingD
-
O bright magnolia bursting in the foamE
magnetic transient whose death bloomsF
and vanishes being nothingness foreverG
broken salt dazzling lurch of the seaH
-
You I Love together we ratify the silenceI
while the sea destroys its perpetual statuesJ
collapses its towers of wild speed and whitenessK
-
because in the weavings of those invisible fabricsL
galloping water incessant sandM
we make the only permanent tendernessK
