Entrance Of The Rivers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH IFGHFJKLMNFF

Beloved of the rivers besetA
By azure water and transparent dropsB
Like a tree of veins your spectreC
Of dark goddess biting applesD
And then awakening nakedE
To be tattoed by the riversF
And in the wet heights your headG
Filled the world with new dewH
-
Water rose to your waistI
You are made of wellspringsF
And lakes shone on your foreheadG
From your sources of density you drewH
Water like vital tearsF
And hauled the riverbeds to the sandJ
Across the planetary nightK
Crossing rough dilated stoneL
Breaking down on the wayM
All the salt of geologyN
Cutting through forests of compact wallsF
Dislodging the muscles of quartzF
