I Can-t Sleep Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF DHDI

I can t sleep Homer and the taut white sailsA
I could the list of ships read only to a halfB
The long long breed the train of flying cranesC
Had lifted once the ancient Greece aboveD
-
The wedge of cranes to alien far frontierE
On heads of kings as foam crowns shineF
Where do you sail If Helen were not hereG
What Troy then means for you Achaeia s people fineF
-
And Homer and the sea are moved by only loveD
Whom must I listen to Homer is silent yetH
And blackened sea with roar comes aboveD
Sunk in triumphant noise head of my sleepless bedI
