I am cold Transparent Spring dressesB
Petropolis in verdant downC
But like a medusa the Neva's waveD
Stirs up in me a slight aversionE
Along the northern bankF
The headlights speed awayG
Steel dragonflies and beetles are flyingH
Golden pinpoints of starlight glimmerI
But not one of those stars will killJ
The heavy emerald of the water's waveD

-
We shall die in transparent PetropolisB
Where Persephone reigns over usB
We drink with every breath the deathly airK
And every hour is our lastL
Terrible Athena goddess of the seaB
Remove your mighty helmet of stoneM
In transparent Petropolis we shall dieA
Where Proserpine rules not youN
