Rough face covered with make up
Thought I was loved
But ended up being lusted for
Any decision made by me
I'm thrashed for it.
Love my marriage
Yet in bondage
The beautiful face I had
Has been scraped off now.
I'm forced to live with him
Even as he's beaten me
Thought it's compromise
Didn't know it's authorized.
Freedom of speech is encouraged in my country
But was banned amist my family
If I do or say the right thing
I'm being questioned for it.
Daylight is like darkness
While every night is like I'm pinned in the heart
The scars are so scary.
Thought there will be a change
But ended up being a challenge
A marriage full of pretence
Because I'm made to be silent!!
Circumstances getting out of hand
From love rain to violence
Forced to tell the world is alright
When it's never fine!!
Forced to bear it forever
But not ever again
Better to speak up than to shut up!!
Enough!
