Do we speak correctly when we say to ourselves, that love is the greatest
And in the same breathe, exuding a confidence of spiritual confirmation,
Say no man is to be trusted, save God, not even ourselves for buttressed cynicism.
Can we then claim to love something we find unworthy of trust?
Because in reality we hold the latter far more valuable than we do the former.

What would be your opinion of a mother who for a wanton want
Of sustaining childlike innocence in the child, lock her possessions away,
Somewhere beyond the reach and comprehension of the experiencing teenager?

Didn’t God risk trusting man the second time, and have we fared any better?
But won’t we rather attribute that to the superiority of the God essence?
The ability to shower love unconditionally, that is.
Isn’t man created in the persona of superiority?
Something we claim in our dominion over lower animals
Sometimes inconsiderate in resulting dealings, but i digress.

Love is everything, it comes with every complimentary persona.
Can we then trust without loving?
We mistake being careful for trust.
