Rhyme Scheme: A BBBB BBCC DDEE BBFF

An Unpublished Poem by my late Latin TutorA

-
-
In candent ire the solar splendor flamesB
The foles languescent pend from arid ramesB
His humid front the cive anheling wipesB
And dreams of erring on ventiferous ripesB
-
How dulce to vive occult to mortal eyesB
Dorm on the herb with none to superviseB
Carp the suave berries from thc crescent vineC
And bibe the flow from longicaudate kineC
-
To me alas no verdurous visions comeD
Save yon exiguous pool's conferva scumD
No concave vast repeats the tender hueE
That laves my milk jug with celestial blueE
-
Me wretched Let me curr to quercine shadesB
Effund your albid hausts lactiferous maidsB
Oh might I vole to some umbrageous clumpF
Depart be off excede evade crumpF
