| Across our lips breaking and cracking and making it bleed | B |
| More frequent than seldom gravity and balance | C |
| Forsake us amidst the raging spins of tornadoes and hurricanes | D |
| The ground that is supposed to be our hope for a solid foundation | E |
| Turns its back breaks up and earthquakes swallow us | F |
| Though we are thankful for the light and energy | G |
| We have a sun that turns us to the soot on a pan when we asked for a tan | H |
| The same soil that gives the sweet apple | I |
| Is the same soil that gives bitter leaf and broccoli | G |
| All the mosquitoes and disturbing houseflies | F |
| The leeches that suck our blood and the lice that makes us itch | J |
| Where do they come from | K |
| Why's nature so unfair and unjust | L |
| Some black some white some tall some short | M |
| Some places have rain others have snow | N |
| Then there's the ugly creepy night | O |
| That vomits demons and monsters of the dark | P |
| When you think you've figured it all out | Q |
| The godforsaken nature takes you back to square one | E |
| And don't you think the leaves are just too green | R |
| The so called rainbow is made up of just too many colors | F |
| And no matter how careful you are | S |
| Carpet grasses always find a way to make you fall | T |
| Even the tiniest dust brings flu your way | U |
| What marvels me the most is the sudden outbreak of diseases | F |
| Just out of nowhere the heartless nature creates | F |
| Nature keeps me from being perfect | V |
| So truly and really nature is the villain of my existence | F |

Poet's note: I wrote this poem early last year not because I wanted to but because it was an assignment. I was in 11th grade at the time. The assignment was themed so versatility was sort of compromised. Long story cut short, my poem won the poem of the week award and was displayed right in front of the school. I was proud of the little woman I am.
