My Love (do Not Ask Me) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EF GH IJKLJM HNOPEQ E

Do not ask me the name of my loveA
I fear for you from the fragrance of perfumeB
contained in a bottle if you smashed itC
drowning you in spilled scentD
-
By God if you even croaked a letterE
Lilacs would pile up on the pathsF
-
Do not look for it here in my chestG
I have left it to run with the sunsetH
-
You can see it in the laughter of dovesI
In the flutter of butterfliesJ
In the ocean in the breathing of dalesK
and in the song of every nightingaleL
in the tears of winter when winter criesJ
in the giving of a generous cloudM
-
Do not ask about his lips as elegant as the sunsetH
And his eyes a shore of purityN
And his waist the sway of a branchO
Charms which no book has containedP
Nor described by a literate's featherE
And his chest his throat enough for youQ
-
I won't breath his name my loverE
