Rhyme Scheme: AAA BB CC AA DD EB B FF

The word lockdown may sound like oppressionA
for some of is sort of deep depressionA
But for few like me we feel a deep connectionA
-
It has shown me fragility of and to the mankindB
shown me things and values which were spotted blindB
-
Our valued part in history will see us throughC
where together in isolation we are standing as a crewC
-
Showing bravery and determinationA
to many other countries we are a true inspirationA
-
What matters is the grand revival of thingsD
health and happiness comes before any previous diamond ringsD
-
So what have we learned from this global panademicE
When historians look back on this what they may findB
-
Tales of survivals friendship humanity and how life was bindB
-
In years to come when we're all grey and oldF
never forget these stories we once toldF
