Little Brown Brother Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

I've always wanted to play the partA
of that puckish pubescent Filipino boyB
-
in those John Wayne Pacific War moviesC
Pepe Jose or Juanito would be smilingD
-
bare chested and eager to pleaseC
for most of the steamy jungle scenesE
-
I'd be the one who would crossF
the Japanese lines and ask for tanksG
-
air support or more men I'd miraculouslyH
make it back to the town where John WayneI
-
is holding his position against the enemyH
with his Thompson machine gun As a rewardJ
-
he'd rub that big white hand on my headK
and he'd promise to let me cleanL
-
his Tommy gun by the end of the night ButM
then a Betty Grable look a like loveN
-
interest would divert him by sobbingD
into his shoulder saying how awfully scaredO
-
she is about what the Japs would doP
to her if she were captured In one swiftQ
-
motion John Wayne would sweep her offR
her feet to calm her fears inside his private quartersS
-
Because of my Hollywood abilityH
to be anywhere I'd be under the bedK
-
watching the woman roll down her stockingsT
as my American hero unbuckles his beltU
-
I'd feel the bottom of the bed bounce off my chestV
as small arms fire explodes outside the wallsW
-
