The Miniature Woman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CADEEE CEFGHEEE CAAIEEEE EJEEE

The Blue Eyed Giant the Miniature WomanA
and the HoneysuckleB
-
He was a blue eyed giantC
He loved a miniature womanA
The woman's dream was of a miniature houseD
with a garden where honeysuckle growsE
in a riot of coloursE
that sort of houseE
-
The giant loved like a giantC
and his hands were used to such big thingsE
that the giant could notF
make the buildingG
could not knock on the doorH
of the garden where the honeysuckle growsE
in a riot of coloursE
at that houseE
-
He was a blue eyed giantC
he loved a miniature womanA
a mini miniature womanA
The woman was hungry for comfortI
and tired of the giant's long stridesE
And bye bye off she went to the embraces of a rich dwarf with a garden where the honeysuckle growsE
in a riot of coloursE
that sort of houseE
-
Now the blue eyed giant realizesE
a giant isn't even a graveyard for loveJ
in the garden where the honeysuckle growsE
in a riot of coloursE
that sort of houseE
