Don Quixote Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EDFGH IDDJKLMCN M

The knight of immortal youthA
at the age of fifty found his mind in his heartB
and on July morning went out to captureC
the right the beautiful the justD
-
Facing him a world of silly and arrogant giantsE
he on his sad but brave RocinanteD
I know what it means to be longing for somethingF
but if your heart weighs only a pound and sixteen ouncesG
there's no sense my Don in fighting these senseless windmillsH
-
But you are right of course Dulcinea is your womanI
the most beautiful in the worldD
I'm sure you'll shout this factD
at the face of street tradersJ
but they'll pull you down from your horseK
and beat you upL
But you the unbeatable knight of our curseM
will continue to glow behind the heavy iron visorC
and Dulcinea will become even more beautifulN
