Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CACCA BABBA BABBA

For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not ofA
yourselves it is the gift of God EphesiansB
-
-
Christ might have called the angels downC
To bear him safe aboveA
To shield his brow from sorrow's crownC
From death's cold blight and bitter frownC
Had it not been for loveA
-
Our glorious King our Prince of PeaceB
Has left his throne aboveA
To give our souls from sin releaseB
To make our pain and anguish ceaseB
And all because of loveA
-
By faith in him we all may seeB
In realms of light aboveA
Through streams of blood on CalvaryB
A joyful immortalityB
The purchase price was loveA
