| Is like watching the green trees rush by | B |
| Catching the allure of the white blue skies | C |
| And basking in the delight that the cosmos provides | D |

| It's like watching the fish go around | E |
| And seeing new water creatures emerge | F |
| I'm fascinated by how the winds blow fire | G |
| And how the soil grows grains | H |

| Love thence is no different from the lion's roar | I |
| The concoction obstructing the passage to you | J |
| I can't feel smell or touch the climax of your care | K |
| And though I watch as the birds fly I can't with them soar | I |

| My heart is in distress and I'm numbed by my state | L |
| I see the moon very clearly but am consigned in a cage | M |
| I see the blistering sun but in its warmth cannot bathe | N |
| The roots of my trees cannot spread to the roots of yours | O |

| I tried to do my best | P |
| Tried to catch the things I couldn't get | Q |
| But these were the farthest I could go | A |
| As all of the goodness passed me within seconds | R |

| Is like looking but not seeing breathing but not living | S |
| Struggling to get a glimpse longing for the feeling | S |
| Condoling in the sad but true come what may I can't have you | J |

Poet's note: Inspiration for this poem came as I sat traveling interstate in a vehicle. Grappling with another personal ordeal, I decided to put this into a poem.
