Rhyme Scheme: AABACAADAEFA

He was when it was aughtA
He would still be even if it might have been naughtA
Drowned I am in my egoB
What would have happened if 'I' was notA
Laden with distraught and feeling apatheticC
do I have to worry about the head being severedA
If it did not severe from the bodyA
The head would have simply reposed on the lapD
It has been ages that 'Ghalib' diedA
Yet the memories linger onE
His saying this on every occasionF
If it was 'like this' then what it would beA
