Sonnet Iv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CDDC EFEF BB

Peace is happiness but war is our plightA
Under the heavens He prince of the nightA
Severe captain and the World's vanityB
Work for our corruption diligentlyB
-
-
Not enough is this mighty Lord of allC
The Body our home for fleeting pleasuresD
Envies heedlessly the Spirit's treasuresD
Constantly craving our eternal fallC
-
-
How shall I wage a battle so terribleE
Frail yet headstrong a soul in isolationF
King Universal Peace most veritableE
In Thee alone is hope of my salvationF
-
-
Do Thou Lord place me safely next to TheeB
I will battle and win decisivelyB
