The smell of stubble burnt delights Piled high | B |
The wagons silent standing take their nightly rest | K |
On distant hills the silver birches I descry | A |
Framed gold by fertile fields the sacred picture blest | K |
Then with a joy unshared save by the vagrant | L |
I see the threshing floor well filled and fragrant | L |
The sloping straw thatched cottage roofs again | M |
The window panels carved of varied stain | N |
