You CAN bring ash to flame again but
there must be something still burning deep
within!
To give death life, one must breathe upon
it warmth and light, so that what once was
coal, will become fire to warm the skin.
My heart was so cold, having known nothing
but pain. I gave up all hope for love and
life...feeling only guilt and endless shame.
When your soul came upon mine, I was shivering
and desolate, emitting pleas and cries!
"How could a man be so fragile and sad," you
asked? "Please," you screamed! "don't let
him die!"
Your innocence...it must illuminate, for from
around my being came a magnificent glow. I
cried, "dear God, true love has finally come
to claim me!" We kissed, you softly wiped
away my tears of sorrow and said, "Lord, now
I know."
The flame STILL burns! Your love revived
my spirit and let me know, that darkness will
haunt me no longer, for I will always be safe
from harm, shrouded by your ethereal soul!
