Angel of light, guardian of the
night, you are a wonder to the
sense of sight.
Your body is composed of mystery, death,
and love; a symbol of beauty,
strategically placed in the
heavens above.
Lifeless and solid to the mind
that is closed but give her the
Sun, and she's sensual yet bold.
We've loved you forever and
hated you just as long.
Disappearing like a thief in the
morning, coming out at night,
shining strong.
You were kind enough to let us
land and leave an impression in
your soul. It will be there
forever, I know this to be true,
because although it blows on our
planet, the wind will never bother
you.
Letting no one disturb your
ancient sands, you have to be the
pickiest lady I know, but until
your time is up and you've taken
your last stand, I'll continue to
boast up until that day, "I've
never seen a rock that looked as
grand."
