IA
Beauty said Hello today and IA
embraced her with a kiss I plantedB
it right on her nose the middle ofC
her face just so I wouldn't missD
-
All too often when you close yourE
eyes Life goes on and you wonderF
WhyA
-
When you think you have allG
the answers and are bursting withH
pride Life comes around again inI
different form laughing in Wisdom asJ
you cryA
-
So kiss her before she gets awayK
Don't wait till tomorrow or some otherF
day The Sun sets faster soon watchL
the twilight fadeM
-
In a moment all will be known as you lookN
back with startled eyes at the Life youO
have just savedP
-
IIA
I turned out the light and was leftQ
alone in the dark with myselfR
-
I've always known I was there butS
only now at the end of the day inI
night's silence did I recognizeT
myself with all my senses that I wasU
wholeV
-
During the day I seemed scatteredW
with one sense strongly leading me onX
alternating with the others to carryY
me through Life's long hours ofC
confusion till sleepZ
-
Sight motivated me with herF
brilliance brightly portraying Life'sA2
natural works of art her powerF
dominating my being till I turned myA
head or closed my eyes in order toO
tear myself away from her tragicB2
beauty as if it were a sweet lieA
meant to trap a child with his ownC2
curiosityY
-
The sound of thought was all IA
could hear now mad echoes of my soulV
taunting me with shouts of doubtD2
guilt and shame of my actions d'jourE2
-
There was no feeling no touch orE
interaction only the cold airF2
deadening my skin with her ghastlyY
embrace of emptinessG2
-
There was nothing I tell youO
NothingH2
-
This was NO Utopia this thisD
NothingnessG2
-
So in a rage of confusion I burstI2
from my sanctuary of silence andJ2
darkness and ran out into the howlingH2
night of crowded streets and falseK2
lightsL2
-
And as I fell to my knees in frontM2
of the first stranger I happened byA
she spit upon my face and laughed atN2
my disgraceO2
-
And as her thick salivaP2
crept down my flushed cheek I burstI2
into laughter and once again felt aP2
part of the Human RaceO2
