Lessons To Live By Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGD HIJI KLMN JGM OPQR

We will all return to dust just as solidA
metals collapse from rust just as all riversB
flow out to sea to crash and foam onC
distant shores endlesslyD
-
Like the caterpillar emerging from hisE
cocoon like a rainbow so free we must liveF
each day like it was our last for whoG
really knows tomorrow might beD
-
We must not give in to the wicked WorldH
or become a part of its destruction we willI
Like a demented man whose gun owns HIM andJ
forces him blindly to killI
-
Say what's on your mind but speak not fromK
your unbridled tongue Countless souls haveL
died from careless words and actions notM
birthed from thoughtN
-
so weigh carefully all you say or do andJ
happiness with these wages of wisdom youG
will have boughtM
-
These are but a few lessons to live byO
Many more will come to you in time Now goP
live your life the best you can I hopeQ
everything works out real fineR
