| Though pain has all but severed my Soul | B |
| and made me beg to die the impregnable | C |
| shield that guards my emotions won't release | D |
| the fluid that's built up over the years | E |
| that bittersweet ocean of salty white wine | F |

| I remember as a small child how I wept at | G |
| almost everything | H |

| Though in some instances the action that triggered | I |
| my tears may have been mild I still felt relieved | J |
| after releasing my anguish in a flood of abandonment | K |
| that somehow seemed to extinguish Anger and Pain's | E |
| self destructive fires | E |

| But over many years Society and countless | E |
| insecure and angry adults told begged no | L |
| forced me to suppress my painful feelings | E |
| That's right boy you'd better bring those | E |
| silly tears to a halt | M |

| They'll do you no good in a football game or | N |
| or out on the battlefield of Life Nietsche | O |
| wrote What does not destroy me makes me | P |
| stronger but his mind had long since flown when | Q |
| he finally died of loneliness and strife | R |

| I want to destroy the dam I want to release my | A |
| tears Society and a thousand rifles pointed at | G |
| my skull can't hold them back this time as they | S |
| have so painfully these many dark years | E |

| Then finally like a long lost brother that's | E |
| returned home to stand by my side tears begin to | T |
| run down my cheek cooling my face and flushing my | A |
| skin performing that spiritual cleansing to heal | U |
| my wounds yet another time once again | Q |

| Such sacred love pain seems to bring when | Q |
| acknowledged and let out in the air but bottle it | V |
| up inside you and die a thousand horrid deaths | E |
