morn when midnight's locks once againC

And the Sun beams out madnessE
ensues over the Earth menC
kill for cash countries war and GodF
looks out over the Great Tragedy andG
sighs at the whole boreH

Temptation no longer a test but aI
by passing of faith lesser time spentJ
going awry we arrive in Hell longK
before we dieL

Satan's news stand barkers mock and cry executiveM
shoots wife kids himself page fiveN
-
We laugh at our fear defending itO
with desensitivity nothing bothersP
me anymore as we leave our friendsQ
with a cruel joke and cower down in theI
aisle at the local beer storeH
-
Hope to drown your pain yet acts as fuel onR
the flame so you rage out into the night and blazeS
tomorrow's headlines with an early graveT
-
I am quite certain we haven't long toU
go had a dream last night to warn myL
soul I feel I'm not prepared goingV
the wrong way in this time of despairW
-
Yet I hope my true acts will shine as myL
Life is read line by line and I get toU
walk through the gates of Glory andG
everything will be just FineX
