| now Why even put up a fight | K |

| The inferno flashed across I felt nothing saw | L |
| only darkness | M |

| We're just killing ourselves with our own | N |
| technology How can we call this World advanced | O |
| Is that some sort of psychology | P |

| The battle has been won but no one can claim | Q |
| the prize It's not just a matter of strength | R |
| or size | S |

| It's all over now and we can't go back | T |
| Doomed from creation by our ever wondering | U |
| minds Caught up in an infinite | D |
| cycle of greed lust and power that's as old | V |
| as the beginning of Time | W |

| So long and hard we worked to build the | B |
| Human Empire Nevertheless in a second | G |
