To Sir Walter Aston, Knight Of The Honourable Order Of The Bath, And My Most Worthy Patron Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACADAEAEFFB

I will not striue m' inuention to inforceA
With needlesse words your eyes to entertaineB
T' obserue the formall ordinarie courseA
That euerie one so vulgarly doth faineB
Our interchanged and deliberate choiseA
Is with more firme and true election sortedC
Then stands in censure of the common voiceA
That with light humor fondly is transportedD
Nor take I patterne of another's praiseA
Then what my pen may constantly avowE
Nor walke more publique nor obscurer waiesA
Then vertue bids and iudgement will allowE
So shall my tone and best endeuours serue youF
And still shall studie still so to deserue youF
