Her lou'd I mostA
By thee that 's lostB
Though she were wonne with leasureC
She was my gaineD
But to my paineD
Thou spoyl'st me of my TreasureC
-
The Ship full fraughtE
With Gold farre soughtE
Though ne'r so wisely helmedE
May suffer wrackeF
In sayling backeF
By Tempest ouer whelmedE
-
But shee good SirC
Did not preferreC
You for that I was rangingF
But for that sheeG
Found faith in meeH
And she lou'd to be changingF
-
Therefore boast notE
Your happy LotE
Be silent now you haue herC
The time I knewD
She slighted youD
When I was in her fauourC
-
None stands so fastE
But may be castE
By Fortune and disgracedE
Once did I weareC
Her Garter thereC
Where you her Gloue haue placedE
-
I had the VowI
That thou hast nowI
And Glances to discouerC
Her Loue to meeH
And she to theeH
Reades but old Lessons ouerC
-
She hath no SmileJ
That can beguileJ
But as my Thought I know itE
Yea to a HayreC
Both when and whereC
And how she will bestow itE
-
What now is thineD
Was onely mineD
And first to me was giuenD
Thou laugh'st at meeH
I laugh at theeH
And thus we two are euenD
-
But Ile not mourneD
But stay my TurneD
The Wind may come about SirC
And once againeD
May bring me inD
And help to beare you out SirC
