The Parting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHH

Since there 's no help come let us kiss and partA
Nay I have done you get no more of meB
And I am glad yea glad with all my heartA
That thus so cleanly I myself can freeB
Shake hands for ever cancel all our vowsC
And when we meet at any time againD
Be it not seen in either of our browsC
That we one jot of former love retainE
Now at the last gasp of Love's latest breathF
When his pulse failing Passion speechless liesG
When Faith is kneeling by his bed of deathF
And Innocence is closing up his eyesG
Now if thou wouldst when all have given him overH
From death to life thou might'st him yet recoverH
