Sonnets: Idea Xv His Remedy For Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACAAAADEFAAA

Since to obtain thee nothing me will steadA
I have a med'cine that shall cure my loveB
The powder of her heart dried when she's deadA
That gold nor honour ne'er had power to moveC
Mixed with her tears that ne'er her true love crostA
Nor at fifteen ne'er longed to be a brideA
Boiled with her sighs in giving up the ghostA
That for her late deceas d husband diedA
Into the same then let a woman breatheD
That being chid did never word replyE
With one thrice married's prayers that did bequeathF
A legacy to stale virginityA
If this receipt have not the power to win meA
Little I'll say but think the devil's in meA
