Sonnets: Idea Xix To Humour Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEGDD

You cannot love my pretty heart and whyA
There was a time you told me that you wouldB
But how again you will the same denyA
If it might please you would to God you couldB
What will you hate Nay that you will not neitherC
Nor love nor hate How then What will you doD
What will you keep a mean then betwixt eitherC
Or will you love me and yet hate me tooD
Yet serves not this What next what other shiftE
You will and will not what a coil is hereF
I see your craft now I perceive your driftE
And all this while I was mistaken thereG
Your love and hate is this I now do prove youD
You love in hate by hate to make me love youD
