Sonnets: Idea Lix To Proverbs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFGHH

As Love and I late harboured in one innA
With Proverbs thus each other entertainB
In love there is no lack thus I beginA
Fair words make fools replieth he againC
Who spares to speak doth spare to speed quoth ID
As well saith he too forward as too slowE
Fortune assists the boldest I replyD
A hasty man quoth he ne'er wanted woeE
Labour is light where love quoth I doth payF
Saith he Light burden's heavy if far bornG
Quoth I The main lost cast the by awayF
You have spun a fair thread he replies in scornG
And having thus awhile each other thwartedH
Fools as we met so fools again we partedH
