Sonnets: Idea Iv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFEGHIHJJ

Bright star of beauty on whose eyelids sitA
A thousand nymph like and enamoured gracesB
The goddesses of memory and witA
Which there in order take their several placesC
In whose dear bosom sweet delicious loveD
Lays down his quiver which he once did bearE
Since he that bless d paradise did proveF
And leaves his mother's lap to sport him thereE
Let others strive to entertain with wordsG
My soul is of a braver mettle madeH
I hold that vile which vulgar wit affordsI
In me's that faith which time cannot invadeH
Let what I praise be still made good by youJ
Be you most worthy whilst I am most trueJ
