Sonnet Xxvii: Is Not Love Here Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGH

Is not Love here as 'tis in other climesA
And differeth it as do the several nationsB
Or hath it lost the virtue with the timesA
Or in this island altereth with the fashionsB
Or have our passions lesser power than theirsC
Who had less art them lively to expressD
Is Nature grown less powerful in their heirsC
Or in our fathers did she more transgressD
I am sure my sighs come from a heart as trueE
As any man's that memory can boastF
And my respects and services to youE
Equal with his that loves his mistress mostF
Or nature must be partial to my causeG
Or only you do violate her lawsH
