Age rules my lines with wrinkles in my face | B |
Where in the map of all my misery | A |
Is modell'd out the world of my disgrace | B |
Whilst in despite of tyrannizing times | C |
Medea like I make thee young again | D |
Proudly thou scorn'st my world outwearing rhymes | C |
And murtherest virtue with thy coy disdain | E |
And though in youth my youth untimely perish | F |
To keep thee from oblivion and the grave | G |
Ensuing ages yet my rhymes shall cherish | F |
When I entomb'd my better part shall save | G |
And though this earthly body fade and die | H |
My name shall mount upon eternity | A |
