Sonnet Xliv: Whilst Thus My Pen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGHA

Whilst thus my pen strives to eternize theeA
Age rules my lines with wrinkles in my faceB
Where in the map of all my miseryA
Is modell'd out the world of my disgraceB
Whilst in despite of tyrannizing timesC
Medea like I make thee young againD
Proudly thou scorn'st my world outwearing rhymesC
And murtherest virtue with thy coy disdainE
And though in youth my youth untimely perishF
To keep thee from oblivion and the graveG
Ensuing ages yet my rhymes shall cherishF
When I entomb'd my better part shall saveG
And though this earthly body fade and dieH
My name shall mount upon eternityA
