Filling mine ears with noise and nightly groaning | D |
Toiling with pain my labor never ceaseth | C |
In grievous passions my woes still bemoaning | D |
My eyes with tears against the fire striving | D |
Whose scorching gleed my heart to cinders turneth | C |
But with these drops the flame again reviving | D |
Still more and more it to my torment turneth | C |
With Sisyphus thus do I roll the stone | E |
And turn the wheel with damned Ixion | F |
