Sonnet Xix: You Cannot Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCADADEFEGDD

To HumorA
-
You cannot love my pretty heart and whyB
There was a time you told me that you wouldC
But now again you will the same denyB
If it might please you would to God you couldC
What will you hate Nay that you will not neitherA
Nor love nor hate how then What will you doD
What will you keep a mean then betwixt eitherA
Or will you love me and yet hate me tooD
Yet serves this not What next What other shiftE
You will and will not what a coil is hereF
I see your craft now I perceive your driftE
And all this while I was mistaken thereG
Your love and hate is this I now do prove youD
You love in hate by hate to make me love youD
