Sonnet 1 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGHGII

Like an aduenturous Sea farer am IA
Who hath some long and dang'rous Voyage beeneB
And call'd to tell of his DiscouerieC
How farre he sayl'd what Countries he had seeneB
Proceeding from the Port whence he put forthD
Shewes by his Compasse how his Course he steer'dE
When East when West when South and when by NorthD
As how the Pole to eu'ry place was rear'dE
What Capes he doubled of what ContinentF
The Gulphes and Straits that strangely he had pastG
Where most becalm'd wherewith foule Weather spentH
And on what Rocks in perill to be castG
Thus in my Loue Time calls me to relateI
My tedious Trauels and oft varying FateI
