Sonet 29 To The Sences Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEFGFGGG

When conquering loue did first my hart assaileA
Vnto mine ayde I summond euery senceB
Doubting if that proude tyrant should preuaileA
My hart should suffer for mine eyes offenceB
But he with beauty first corrupted sightC
My hearing bryb'd with her tongues harmonyD
My taste by her sweet lips drawne with delightC
My smelling wonne with her breaths spicerieE
But when my touching came to play his partF
The King of sences greater than the restG
That yeelds loue up the keyes vnto my hartF
And tells the other how they should be blestG
And thus by those of whom I hop'd for aydeG
To cruell Loue my soule was first betraydG
