That gorgeous Eden where once Adam slept | A |
When tempting Eve was taken from his side | A |
Let him great God not only be my guide | A |
But with his fiery faucheon still be nie | F |
To keep affliction far from me that I | G |
With a free soul thy wondrous works may show | H |
Then like that deluge shall my numbers flow | H |
Telling the state wherein the earth then stood | A |
