When I first ended then I first beganA
The more I trauell further from my restB
Where most I lost there most of all I wanC
Pyned with hunger rysing from a feastD
Mee thinks I flee yet want I legs to goeE
Wise in conceite in acte a very sotF
Rauisht with ioy amidst a hell of woeE
What most I seeme that surest I am notG
I build my hopes a world aboue the skyeH
Yet with a Mole I creepe into the earthI
In plenty am I staru'd with penuryJ
And yet I serfet in the greatest dearthI
I haue I want dispayre and yet desireK
Burn'd in a Sea of Ice and drown'd amidst a fireK
