Amour 45 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAABABCDCDAA

Blacke pytchy Night companyon of my woeA
The Inne of care the Nurse of drery sorrowA
Why lengthnest thou thy darkest howres soA
Still to prolong my long tyme lookt for morrowA
Thou Sable shadow Image of dispayreA
Portraite of hell the ayres black mourning weedB
Recorder of reuenge remembrancer of careA
The shadow and the vaile of euery sinfull deedB
Death like to thee so lyue thou still in deathC
The graue of ioy prison of dayes delightD
Let heauens withdraw their sweet Ambrozian breathC
Nor Moone nor stars lend thee their shining lightD
For thou alone renew'st that olde desireA
Which still torments me in dayes burning fireA
